Our Ginger Room for Pilgrims is a room set aside as a poustinia. A poustinia is a Russian word (пустынь) for a small room where one goes to contemplate alone in the presence of God.

At Jasmine Garden Oasis, we set aside this room  and encourage people interested in retreat who may not be able to pay the full price of a studio, to book some time at a reduced rate or on a work-exchange plan of payment.

The room is furnished simply. It is located in the main home, with shared bathroom, generally available for booking spring through fall, and occasionally in winter. Contact us directly if interested.
